Washington DC Architecture

I am thinking of everyone still without power. I am in the same boat still but thankful that we were not as badly affected here in Connecticut as New York and New Jersey. I am thinking of everyone there and hope that life will return to normal soon. To get our minds off the storm and back to normal life I wanted to share some amazing Washington DC architecture. I Just Love Architecture! A few weeks ago my husband and I drove down to North Carolina to visit family and on our way decided to spend the weekend in Washington, DC. Here I am over 50 and had never visited DC before! As we walked around downtown DC, I was in awe of the buildings  – I just love architecture! Of course, going through the museums and seeing the White House up close was amazing, but I just kept taking pictures of all the beautiful buildings! After looking at the pictures I took, many were banks and not Government buildings!
